Stretch 3 is a slim, 24.5 kg mobile manipulator for home-environment research: a differential- drive base with a vertical mast, a telescoping arm and the three-axis DexWrist 3 gripper that carries a depth camera, plus a rotating 3D camera on top of the mast. It is built around ROS 2 and Python with an Intel NUC 12 onboard, and is sold mainly to university and corporate research labs.

Editor's notes
Both sources give USD 24,950, matching the launch price reported in Feb 2024. battery_runtime: Robot Report says 'two to five hours' — lower bound recorded. axes 5 counts manipulator joints only (1 lift + 1 telescoping arm + 3 wrist); Robotics Center's '7 DOF' includes the 2 base DOF. Dimensions 33 x 34 x 141 cm. Robotics Center calls it 'open-source' but the manufacturer page was not fetched and the Robot Report describes an 'open platform' with community code, so open_source is omitted per brief. Reach / lift height not stated on either page. hello-robot.com blocks fetching.
