da Vinci 5 is Intuitive's fifth-generation multiport surgical robot, cleared by the FDA in March 2024 and CE-marked in 2025. A surgeon operates it from a console; it adds force feedback instruments, integrated insufflation and electrosurgical units, a new 3D imaging system and far more onboard computing than the da Vinci Xi. It is sold to hospitals and surgical centres, not to individuals, and pricing is on request.
